BRYAN KAI LOUIE

Design, Illustration and Art Direction
Nat Geo Museum Of Exploration

The amazing team at Terri & Sandy brought me on to create 15 unique illustrations using the iconic National Geographic yellow rectangle and intricate silhoutted, intrigued museum patrons. The illustrations were a part of a bigger campaign “See Things You Can Only Imagine” which helped bring attention to the opening of the Nat Geo Museum Of Exploration.

From the agency: “Washington DC is home to over 70 museums, so when National Geographic needed a launch campaign for its new DC-based museum, it truly had to stand out. Instead of showing photos of our exhibits, like every museum does, we created a campaign that asked people to “imagine” the new exhibits instead. Using only National Geographic’s iconic yellow border and imagination itself as our medium, we created a campaign of over 100 unique placements that transformed spaces around DC into things you could only imagine.“
