ZHORA DARLING
Creative Direction, design and illustration for the branding of Minneapolis Minnesota based restaurant, bar and venue Zhora Darling. The owners of ZD were inspired in part by Blade Runner and it’s Asian dystopian future aesthetic, which informed my overall design direction. Zhora was a replicant character in the original movie and Darling was her snake. I created 2 custom typefaces for the logo along with 3 interchangeable logo lockups. A specific mid grey, orange, white and black color pallette was directed by the owners and was applied overall. I also created custom boa constrictor illustrations that are applied throughout the branding and collateral. Print menus, merch, business cards, posters and digital social media assets were created with the brand direction. Benton Sans Wide and Condensed served as typography.
