Campaign Tarot card design and iconography for Netflix’s largest global campaign: What Next? I worked alongside a very talented team at Los York to help them develop and design a tarot card inspired design system which would be scaled and applied to a multi faceted advertising campaign. Under the guidance of Los York’s creative team, I was first tasked with exploring the tarot card front and back design, which was chosen by the client and then further refined by the team. The design language was then transformed by the team into a system and applied to all aspects of the campaign. I was tasked next with creating the tarot card iconography language. 138 icons later, we had tiny illustrations representing the 22 major arcana, 4 minor arcana, 12 signs, and many, many Netflix 2026 titles.&nbsp; Main card illustrations by the amazing&nbsp;María Jesús Contreras. The illustrations were a part of a bigger campaign “See Things You Can Only Imagine” which helped bring attention to the opening of the Nat Geo Museum Of Exploration.&nbsp; From the agency: “Washington DC is home to over 70 museums, so when National Geographic needed a launch campaign for its new DC-based museum, it truly had to stand out. Instead of showing photos of our exhibits, like every museum does, we created a campaign that asked people to “imagine” the new exhibits instead. Using only National Geographic’s iconic yellow border and imagination itself as our medium, we created a campaign of over 100 unique placements that transformed spaces around DC into things you could In this explainer video for Spotify, we created a world in which songs, artists, and playlists are represented by an array of shapes and objects, telling the story of how Spotify’s playlist ecosystem benefits musicians. I was tasked by Rove Studios to concept and create visual identities for each band represented by color and shape defined by their music style along with all supporting elements. of Minneapolis Minnesota based restaurant, bar and venue Zhora Darling. The owners of ZD were inspired in part by Blade Runner and it’s Asian dystopian future aesthetic, which informed my overall design direction. Zhora was a replicant character in the original movie and Darling was her snake. I created 2 custom typefaces for the logo along with 3 interchangeable logo lockups. A specific mid grey, orange, white and black color pallette was directed by the owners and was applied overall. I also created custom boa constrictor illustrations that are applied throughout the branding and collateral. Print menus, merch, business cards, posters and digital social media assets were created with the brand direction. Benton Sans Wide and Condensed served as typography. My role was to create a wide variety of visuals that could be animated to help elevate the narration. Each visual was inspired by a key line explaining a specific Lincoln car design element. A wide variety of styles was used to help keep the documentary feeling fresh each time an animation was shown to help support the voiceover. From hand drawn, to painted to graphic, these illustrations and designs helped bring life to the film. The record was produced in 3 different varients of vinyl and is housed in 3 different mixed media printed LP jackets. The regular version was first CMYK printed on an inside out jacket and then the black illustrated bird and typography were letterpressed. The Special Edition w/ the Blob Vinyl variant comes housed in a custom, screen printed slip cover and is hand numbered.
